 The “Mexico Mission” began in 1997. The Mexico Mission involves working with the nonprofit corporation, Amor Ministries, to build one or more homes for poor families along the border with California. The program, staffed by Senior High youth and adults from the SHPC community, is one of the most popular of the church’s service efforts, and continues to grow in the number of youth and adult participants. Over time, our church has built a dozen houses. The program is a source of tremendous pride for all members of Sleepy Hollow Presbyterian Church.
