SHPC puts young people in the center of church life. Pastor Bev has a special message for kids of all ages each Sunday teaching Bible stories that emphasize God’s love for all people, especially children. Our Children’s Program teaches respect, kindness, sharing, and planet care with art and games, and is mostly outside in our beautiful back yard and garden.
Our new Youth Director Ryan Knauber, a seminary student with an interfaith background, is getting to know the teens and tweens and hosting zoom Game Night with fun and thoughtful conversation. As soon as COVID eases, we’ll be back to in-person Game Night and activities for fun and service.
Our Music Leader Alex hosts Youth Music/Band with local music teacher Pam Selvig, after service on Sundays.
