The Bible tells us that for 40 days following Easter, Jesus appeared to his disciples in various places. Jesus breathed the Holy Spirit onto his disciples, quieted the doubts of Thomas, and then ascended into heaven. But isn’t he still with us? How are we to understand what the breath of Jesus and the gift of the Holy Spirit mean for us today? Can we harness these gifts to bring more purpose, energy, and meaning to our lives? This Sunday, May 17, 2015 at 9:30 a.m., we’ll explore these questions and more as we prepare for the celebration of Pentecost.
