“Resurrection” by Russian artist Ivan Filichev shows the resurrected Jesus appearing to his followers. They were terrified and dumbfounded, but also full of joy to see their teacher again! On this third Sunday of Easter, Lora East, our pastoral intern, will talk about what the resurrected Jesus meant for his disciples long ago, and what it means for us, followers of Jesus today. Spoiler alert: God is alive and with us! Hallelujah!
Stay after worship for a Let’s Talk! conversation with Richard Peltzman about Jesus the Radical. MOLOTH, our middle school youth group, is planting Milkweed for endangered Monarch butterflies in our garden, and then going on a tour of the Marin Recycling Center for Earth Day. It’s going to be another beautiful Sunday at Sleepy Hollow Presbyterian Church. Thanks be to God!
