When you were very young, what did you think you would “be” when you grew up?  In a rapidly changing employment landscape, how much does our work define us?  And how do we earn a living while living our values?  Is it possible to find work that makes our hearts sing?

This Sunday, August 31, 2014 at 9:30 a.m., on Labor Day weekend, we’ll explore the role that work plays in our lives, and ask ourselves what work God is calling us to do in the world.  Our texts will be Psalm 105:1-6, Exodus 3:1-15, and Matthew 16:21-28.  The SHPC Singers will have a beautiful anthem for us composed by Hallie Foster.
