Tomato Plant Sale to Benefit Hunger Relief, 2025
Sponsored by Sleepy Hollow Presbyterian Church and the Sleepy Hollow Homes Association
Since 1960, Sleepy Hollow Presbyterian Church (SHPC) has been feeding the hungry. In 2013, the church fenced its backyard and established the Justice Garden to grow organic produce for community hunger relief and beyond. Since then, over $36,000 has been raised in donations from tomato plant sales and the summer farmstand.
Proceeds from last year included: the SF Marin Food Bank, World Central Kitchen for Ukrainian and Palestinian refugees, Stone Soup Marin, Marin Interfaith Street Chaplaincy, Laurel Dell School Hunger Fund and St. Rita’s Food Pantry.
Our Annual Tomato Plant Sale will take place at 100 Tarry Rd. on Friday, April 4th from 4-5:30pm, and will continue on Saturday, April 5th from 10am until we sell out!
In addition to cash & checks (made out to SHPC), donations can be made thru PayPal and Venmo at: http://www.sleepyhollowchurch.org/wp/ways-to-donate-to-shpc/ .
Suggested donation: $6 per plant
Thank you for supporting hunger relief programs!
