November 1, 2015 Season of Gratitude The Stories We Tell Ourselves, Part Two: From Glass Half Empty to Cup Overflowing

Is your glass generally half empty or half full?  Do you tend to focus on what’s wrong, who’s slighted you, what you don’t have, or does that stuff bounce off you like you’re teflon?  Psychologists and storytellers tell us that it’s not what happens to us in life that makes the most impact on our quality of life, it’s what we tell ourselves about what happens.  How can we tell our own life story so that we’ll feel blessed with a cup overflowing? This Sunday, November 1, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. we’ll explore that, and we’ll renew and refresh our spirits! Our scripture texts are Psalm 23 (KJV) and John 2:1-12.
